The open-air folk museum in the village of Snappertuna opened in 1958 and presents the life of a fisherman/farmer in the archipelago of the mid-19th century. The oldest parts of the main building date from the 18th century. There is also a loft, a food store, a larder, a seine shed, a privy, a barn and a smithy. All the buildings have been moved here from elsewhere, the smithy being the last addition. It was brought here by the Snappertuna Farmers’ Guild and opened in 1998. From the museum there is a beautiful forestpath,
the "lovepath", leading to the castleruin Raseborg.
